Jemal Kassaw

Jemal oversees EngenderHealth’s diverse portfolio in Ethiopia, which includes family planning and comprehensive abortion care programs. He has been supporting public health programs working at national, state, and local levels in Ethiopia for more than 20 years. In addition to extensive experience in the sexual and reproductive health and maternal and child health sectors, he brings particular expertise in institutional strengthening, policy advocacy, public-private partnerships, and social and behavior change communications. Jemal earned a bachelor of science in public health from Alemaya University.
