Kabiru Atta

Kabiru is responsible for managing EngenderHealth’s maternal and obstetric care programming in Nigeria. With 15 years of experience supporting health programs in Nigeria, including sexual and reproductive health and maternal health programs, he brings expertise in such areas as gender integration, health systems strengthening, community mobilization, and social and behavior change communications. Kabiru earned a medical degree from the University of Ibadan as well as a master of public health and a postgraduate diploma in public health from the University of Liverpool and a master’s degree in development studies from Nigeria Defence Academy.
