Tom Georgis

Tom Georgis is an advisor and consultant to global renewable energy companies, with more than 28 years of experience in the energy, technology, and government service sectors. He was most recently the CEO of SolarReserve, a solar power plant and technology company focused on thermal energy storage solutions for conventional and renewable energy generation facilities. He has held senior executive positions with several global energy companies, managing the development, financing, and construction of power plants in Australia, Chile, El Salvador, Nigeria, South Africa, and the United States, and has served on the management teams for two technology start-ups.

Georgis earned his master of business administration from the Anderson School at the University of California Los Angeles and holds a bachelor of arts degree in international studies from Northwestern University. Georgis served nine years as a naval special warfare officer in the United States Navy and is on the board of the Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
